Moivac is a specialized vacuum system developed for cleaning on offshore installations, particularly on oil and gas rigs.

The system is used to remove mud (drilling fluid), drill cuttings, and other sludge or liquids from decks and tanks in an environmentally friendly and efficient manner.

By using a Drop-Tank, it can also vacuum dry media such as sand from sandblasting and other processes.

• Environmetal considerations: In the past, contaminated water and mud were often washed directly into the sea, but stricter environmental regulations have made this illegal. Moivac was developed as a response to this need.
• Function: The system vacuums up waste liquids and mud using a powerful vacuum pump and stores it in a collection tank for later disposal onshore.
• Design: Moivac is compact and modular, featuring components such as an electric motor, compressor, vacuum pump, suction hose, and control panel.
