What is dry ice?

Dry ice is the common name for solid carbon dioxide (CO2). It is named so because it does not melt into a liquid when heated. Instead, it turns into gas immediately. The scientific term for this is sublimation!

The re-use of CO2 is environmentally friendly

The CO2 used for dry ice blasting is a reused waste product from other industries, already produced CO2
This can be included in the company’s environmental accounting

For several years, we have collaborated with DI Global using Mixed Media Blasting (MMB) with dry ice and sand as an alternative to traditional sandblasting.
